1) How Old Are You? (Need to be at least 15 years old)
23
2) Whats You Minecraft In-Game Name?
Salrisa, nick is Salty
3)What Are You Applying For?(E.G Helper,Mod,Admin)
Trial-Mod
4) What Is Your Timezone?
PST
5) Why Do You Want To Be Staff?
I want to be able to contribute to the server's growth a bit more closely, and be able to help players beyond just reading them the rules (though I understand this one would take a bit more luck and time).
6) How much time do you have to contribute to the role?
Usually any time after 3pm(pst).Tuesdays and Wednesday just about all day.
7) Anything else we should know?
I'm a pretty quick learner and can adapt to change easily. I'm also pretty used to dealing with people and complaints(thanks, work) and know when to keep a level head. Another thing worth mentioning is I can't often check discord during work hours, only break times, as I'm often moving around a lot and busy.
8) Do you have a microphone
I do, and have fortunately already broken the ice with most of the staff, so I won't hesitate to speak to them.
9) Do you have any past staff experience?
I've co-owned two servers in the past. Worked up from mod (I believe) on the first one, started a server with a friend for the second one so I'm pretty familiar with spigot/bukkit. I'm not sure what you guys use now since this was years ago, but I'm fairly familiar with the general commands.
10) How would you deal with a hacker?
Watch them for a while, if I feel they really are doing something suspicious, I'll ask someone higher up for their opinion before jumping the gun on anything. I know anti-cheats can sometimes bug out so I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt.
11) How would you deal with a spammer in chat?
Warn them at first about it being against the rules, it never hurts to refresh their memory. If they persist, I'll give them a sterner warning and let them know they'll be temp-muted if it continues, and ofc follow through if it still continues. I say this for regular players of course. I understand these methods won't work against a pack of bots.
12) Why should we choose you over other applicants
I can't really say if I'm being honest. I'll think much too long if I try to answer why I'm better than someone else unironically. I just know I'd love to help out, be part of the team, and take some weight off your shoulders in whatever way I can. I don't mind learning whatever new things I have to learn, and relearning anything I've forgotten, and I hope you guys will have patience with me on the latter.
