1.) How Old Are You? (Need to be at least 15 years old)
- 19 years old
2.) Whats You Minecraft In-Game Name?
- TheThirdOdd (previously "odd_as_balls")
3.) What are your strengths for building? (What themes do you prefer?)
- I can build in almost any theme, but in the previous years I've mostly focused on meditteranean and super-modern. I have a lot of experience building cities and sprawling builds with a lot of features, and I find terraforming to be a passion that I hope to improve.
4.) What is your weakness in building, and how would you better yourself from it?
- Terraforming is probably my weakest aspect at the moment, but I'm hoping to improve by builing a lot more. I'm confident with the brush tool, but I seem to struggle when it comes to the smaller details. I also want to improve in building trees specifically; I'm able to do the main body well but leaves are a struggle that I want to improve on.
5.) What Is Your Timezone?
- GMT
6.) How much time do you have to contribute to the role?
- I'm in Uni currently, but I manage to find the time to play for at least a few hours daily usually, and on the weekends I can play a lot more where needed.
7.) Anything else we should know?
- I can build in teams, but I always feel most comfortable with my own projects to work on (unless each member of the team has defined parts of the build to work on and mimimal overlap)
8.) Do you have a microphone?
- Yes
9.) Do you have any past builder experience?
- I've been a builder on two previous servers, which have now gone down. I created a temporary event spawn for one of them, and won build competitions on another server. I was a member of a build team for a time, before that disbanded.
10.) Why should we choose you over other applicants?
- I have a lot of experience, and am motivated to build as it is something I enjoy. Therefore, I'll be able to work to deadlines effectively, and am unlikely to be unwilling to work on a project that I currently have. I study fine art at university so I know my way around colour palettes and complimentary materials, and I have the ability to focus on the aesthetics of the build as a whole and take a micro and macro approach to anything I'm working on.
11.) Please put at least 1 (one) to 10 (ten) images of builds you have done.
