Hello, my name is Jesse, and I would like to apply for Trial Mod.
1. Have you read the terms of service? Yes, I have. I'm not quite the age for applying but I have been told that I am mature for my age.
2. How old are you? Like I said, I'm not really old enough to be applying but I am fourteen.
3. What is your Minecraft in-game name? My Minecraft in-game name is "JesseTheMessy258", but my nickname is set as just "Jesse".
4. What are you applying for? What I am applying for is Trial Mod.
5. What is your timezone? My timezone is CST
6. Why do you want to apply for staff? I want to apply for staff because I find pleasure in helping people. For example, just today I was asked if redstone clocks were allowed, and I told them that they weren't... I could do more, just no one really comes to me with problems like that.
7. How much time do you have to contribute to the role? Well, usually I'm on two days in the midweek, and on on the weekends and when I am on, I'm usually on pretty much all day.
8. Do you have a microphone? I do, but i don't use it because it's not a really great one. I will use it if i have to though.
9. Do you have any past staff experience? No, but maybe here is where I can start!
10. How would you deal with a hacker? What I would do, if i saw someone acting suspiciously or seeming to get lucky quite a bit, I would follow them a little, see if they are making a direct path to ores, or flying without buying it or anything like that. If they are indeed doing these things, I would temp ban them depending on the severity of hacking. If it is something like a hack for fullbright, then I would ban them for a day or two, but if it's severe like them somehow hacking it to where they get money, I would ban them for at least two weeks, maybe a month, and report it to Rex or any other staff online to see what further action, if any, will need to be done about the situation.
11. How would you deal with a spammer in chat? The first thing I would do is give them a warning. If they continue after the warning, I will mute them for about 5 minutes. If they continue after time is up, I will mute them for 20 minutes, and even further still, I would kick them, and if they still kept going, I would temp ban them then report to Rex or any other staff online.
12. How would you deal with a difficult player? If a player was being difficult, I would /msg them and ask them politely to stop. If they continue, I would either mute them for five minutes or ten, or consult any staff that are on or Rex about the problem.
13. Why should we choose you over other applicants? Well you see, my age can be a big factor in this. Since im younger and don't have to tend to things like kids or a job, I can be online more frequently or not be afk as often. People say that I am mature for my age, and I think they are right, but that is up for you to decide.
14. Is there anything else we should know? Something you should know is that I'm on Discord practically every day, so if anyone needs me they can DM me, and I'm also active on the survival channel through discord quite a bit, meaning I can moderate chat through that.
