3)I am applying to become a Moderator for the server.
4) My time zone is Mountain Standard time.
5) The reason I would like to become staff is because I like to help others out and I have a decent amount of knowledge on server plugins.
6) I have about 5 hours on week days and almost all day on the weekends depending on scheduling.
7) I know most of the ways to spot a hacker and certain hacks in general.

9) I do have past staff experience but that was back on 1.7.3 and I was a admin for about 3 months before the server had to shut down due to funding issues.
10) Most people would say just ban them but I believe that they should be observed hacking before making the decision to ban. Also if it is hard for me to decide i would have one of the other admins help me make the decision.
11) The first thing i would do for someone spamming is i would give them a warning about it. If they continue I would mute the person for five minuets and if they haven't learned I would increase it to 30 minuets from then on I would bring the situation to a staff member who has more experience than me to determine what the next punishment should be.
12) The reason that i should be chosen other other applicants for my position is that I am willing to learn more about the server as I serve my time on staff use my experience as a staff member from my other time to try and teach the current staff some new techniques and punishments for single and repeat offenders. In addition to being able to teach i would also stand out from the rest by being a valuable asset to help test future server updates and plugins.
